Kefalonia Weddings - Terms of Business
Kefalonia Weddings is a trading name of Ionian Services Limited, Alderney, whose registration details are as follows:

Registered Office: Century House, Victoria Street, Alderney, Channel Islands.
In the unlikely event of a legal dispute, this agreement shall be interpreted by and according to the laws of the United Kingdom.
Booking your Wedding
Initially, based on your requirements, we prepare an itinerary and proposal for your consideration. On acceptance of the proposal, a confirmation deposit is made, with the final balance due before the wedding date. All proposals are subject to approval and availability of the services.
Prices
We will do our utmost to keep prices published / quoted. Should increases be forced upon us by increased charges, tax rates etc., we reserve the right to surcharge without notice up to a maximum of 10% of total cost. These charges will be added to your final payment.
Please note that our published wedding plan prices do not included the fees for our optional comprehensive documentation service, which must be paid directly to the translator in the UK, and not to Kefalonia Weddings.
PAYMENTS
Confirmation payment: A small deposit is required prior to commencing the arrangements, and you will be notified of this well in advance.
Balance on itinerary: Full payment is due four weeks before wedding date.
Any additional expenses or costs due to changes to the wedding itinerary will be added to this payment. Items which are not directly a part of the wedding itinerary (e.g. beauty treatments, laundry services etc.) may need to be paid for separately after you have arrived in Kefalonia. In these cases, your contract is directly with the supplier of the goods and/or services, and is entirely your responsibility.

Payments are in Euro (unless otherwise stated), we accept personal cheques ( Euro), cash and bank transfers.
CANCELLATION OF WEDDING
Cancellations of booked weddings are only effective on receipt of written notification.
Charges levied for cancellation prior to the wedding date are as follows:
- Cancellation of wedding due to no fault of Kefalonia Weddings (Ionian Services Limited), full deposit retained
- Up to three weeks, 70% of wedding charge retained
- Three weeks or less, full payment of wedding retained.
Variation or waiver of these conditions is at the sole discretion of the company management.
Insurance
It is a condition of booking, that the sole responsibility lies with the client to ensure that they carry the correct comprehensive travel and medical insurance to cover themselves, as well as an dependants/travelling companions for the duration of their trip. Insurance should cover, but not be limited to, personal injury, medical expenses, emergency evacuation back home, loss of luggage and the expenses associated with cancellation or curtailment of a holiday.
Kefalonia Weddings (Ionian Services Ltd), its agents or employees will take no responsibility for any costs, losses incurred or suffered by our client or guest's dependants with regard to, but not limited to, any of the above mentioned eventualities. Guests will be charged directly by the relevant service providers for any emergency services they may require, and may find themselves in a position unable to access such services should they not be carrying the relevant insurance cover.
Delays
Neither Kefalonia Weddings (Ionian Services Ltd) nor its agents shall be held responsible for the consequences of any delays, whether arising from accidents, breakdowns, airlines not running to schedule or any other cause.
Travel and other Legal Documents
It is the responsibility of the client to be in possession of a valid passports, and other legal documents, as advised.
Acceptance of these Terms of Business
Payment by the customer of the initial deposit will be deemed to be acceptance of the Terms and Conditions described herein.
