Dear Donna,

Our wonderful day in Skala could simply not have been better. You organized everything so perfectly and made our wedding better than we ever could have imagined. When Steve first looked on Google for a wedding in Kefalonia we were sceptical over how the day would evolve.
 
From the moment we met you later in 2006 while taking a break in Skala we were happy that we were in good hands. Steve was still worried about the ceremony and how 'special' it would be. Our family all agreed to come along and we planned for the big holiday for some months, exchanging e-mails with you to answer our many many questions. You were so patient thankfully !
 
As we all arrived in Kefalonia we were nervous but happy to be on your beautiful island again. The welcome we received in Skala from all of our friends there was fantastic. Until you meet the locals you can never understand how friendly and genuine everyone really is.
 
The Wedding itself was truly the best day of our lives. All of our worries were gone. The little touches you added and the setting outside the chapel was wonderful. All the preparations were perfect and the flowers and cake just what we wanted. The photographer provided some wonderful shots that have been admired by everyone. Steve's daughter Charlotte had such a brilliant day as bridesmaid.
 
Even the Greek you taught Steve is still remembered!!!
 
Your suggestions on a reception at Aelos were also just exactly right for us. We would recommend Christos and his team to anyone who is looking for a reception in Skala.
 
Thank you so much for a Wedding to remember for the rest of our lives. Our family and friends said that it was the best Wedding they had ever attended.

Donna,

We would just like to thank you for a utterly fantastic day. We will never ever forget it, from start to finish everything was perfect. When we first contacted you in March, from then to the day we got married in September everything was so well organised, any queries we had were emailed over to you, and you kept us at ease by your efficient replies, it really did keep us calm & confident in your organisation of our special day.

Then the day came, but we had a problem with it - It was over far too fast, we wanted to do it all again the next day. The 20 guests we took out there were so impressed with the venues and the Island - "The best wedding we have ever been to" was a common comment.
I would advise everybody to take it all in as the day is over far too fast, Neil's photos are fantastic, the setting and the venues are just out of this world. The wedding could not have been anymore perfect than it was and for all this we are eternally grateful to you Donna - you are a star.

We have also been a bit busy going to the midwife as Kay is now 4 months pregnant!! What do they put in Mythos? Its a honeymoon baby!! so the reunion for next year will have to be delayed, you will have to put up with my parents in June instead. We are due on June 10th and Kay is feeling fine, just a little morning sickness. We are both over the moon about it.

Hi Donna,

I have just finished sorting out all of our photos and catching up with people that did not manage to see our beautiful wedding in Lassi.

Mark and I wanted to thank you so much for all of your hard work in sorting out our wedding. We had a fantastic day and the evening reception in the Mystic Gusto was just what we wanted. Everything went according to plan and the whole day will remain as one of the happiest moments in our lives.

Garry, one of our friends, pointed out that you actually managed to colour co-ordinate the cars to match my shoes!!!!

All of the planning and pre-wedding communication was handled very professionally and I did not think that a few e-mails would produce such a wonderful and truly memorable day. All of our family and guests that attended said that they really enjoyed the wedding and that it was one of the best weddings that they had been involved in.

Thank you again for making the whole wedding a really easy and stress free time for us. We will always remember you and your family with very fond wishes.

Dear Donna,
 
Well where do I start to begin to thank you. An E-mail just doesn't seem enough.

You truly made our day perfect and better than any expectations we had or any of our guests had. The memories of that day will stay in our hearts and everyone's forever.
 
As you know we decided to return to Kefalonia after getting engaged there five years prior, I must admit I did have my doubts about getting married abroad and not having a reasonably traditional wedding and all family and friends there. Worries were set aside for everything which is so nice, sometimes it felt like I wasn't doing anything for the wedding but in the end just having to make the decisions of what flowers, colours, cake and where to have the ceremony and reception was enough and enjoyable ( I'm sure like most bride's to be, it's us that do everything - well almost everything). Although there were twenty of us in all, I know there was so much that needed to be taken into account what with a young baby a disabled member in our party and then sorting out individual food and drink needs ( veggies and allergies etc.), it was all made so simple and organised so well.
 
The wedding day, it really was the perfect day, and the pictures and all the little finishing touches were fantastic. You really did make it for us. Everything went so well and with no hitches and that is a big thanks to you. I would like you to express our thanks to the photographer and DJ for not only doing a fantastic job on the day but for accepting my input too. I thought I might have been a bit cheeky sending the photographer a list of pictures I wanted and the DJ a playlist, but it was great and we did get everything and more of what we wanted. To tie in all the English traditions I wanted to was brilliant and made the day so special. I would recommend Capitol to everyone, it is beautiful, the perfect setting for either inside or out, large or small parties, and the staff there were superb, not to mention the food - wow! It was a feast and delicious too.
 
I would and already have recommended you and we just can't thank you enough. Your personal touch was great and I know you have been doing this for a long time but it really is your natural calling. We will be seeing you next year for our first anniversary and yes we are ALL coming back.

I'm glad to have met such a lovely person in you and it was lovely meeting your children, they are a credit to you and that shows what sort of a person your are.
 
If you want to give my personal E-mail address out to anyone who may want to ask anything that's no problem at all. I must say on that note I know I must have sent so many E-mails asking so many questions over the year before the wedding to you and thank you for your time and care to get all the answers.

We just wanted to say a big thank you for everything you did for us in making our wedding day so special.
 
We could not have wished for a nicer day and there is no way we could have arranged it as good ourselves. Your local knowledge and contacts meant that everything was arranged to perfection and we did not have to worry about a single thing. The two venues, band, flowers, car, cake, hair, makeup, bus, balloons, champagne, fireworks were all organised by you and we couldn't fault anything. The food was all delicious (and plentiful!!), the location perfect and the lighthouse provided a stunning backdrop for photographs.

All of our guests enjoyed the day immensely and we have even had some saying it was the best wedding they had ever been to.

If you have any couples who are in two minds about a wedding in Kefalonia then please do not hesitate to give them my e-mail address, I will be more than happy to answer any queries they may have.

Our wedding at Skala Town Hall 11 July 2007

Donna arranged our wedding day for us at Skala Town hall 11th-Jul-2007 and it was the best day of our lives. From the moment we visited Donna's web site we were looked after, everything we needed to know, within 24 hrs Donna came back with the answers, it means a lot when your miles away in another country to know that your in safe hands. the Town Hall was decorated inside and out, we were able to have music playing when i entered , and back ground music while the Mayor was was conducting the ceremony too. All our guests enjoyed the day, photos were taken by Neil Medhurst and he was a wonderful photographer and I looked and felt a million dollars, the groom included.

My Husband and I wanted every thing to be as good as it would be if we were marrying in England, and it was with out a doubt a thousand times better.

So if there are any Brides to be out there that are considering getting married in Kefalonia, look no further and get yourself on Donna's web site and have a look at what she can do for you and your partner, and you will be amazed.

Donna we had the most fantastic day and enjoyed every minute of it, a big big thank you for helping us make our Wedding Day the best day of our lives. We look forward to seeing you next year when we come out and celebrate our 1st Anniversary. ( don't forget the beer's are on you).

We had our wedding in June 07 and from the moment we arrived I cannot express how well everything fell into place. Donna is clearly someone who is not only exceptionally good at what she does, but clearly takes a great deal of pleasure from making people happy, and importantly making their Wedding day as special for them as possible. In our case that is exactly what she did. As well as being disarmingly well organised she has an incredibly calming persona which turned out to be very useful for those wedding day nerves.

From not being sure what to expect on the day, and also whether or not to trust what was essentially an internet booked wedding, I would highly recommend it, and although it probably wouldn't be appropriate at this stage to say 'I'd love to do it again', what I would say that for us and for our special day I absolutely wouldn't have changed a thing.

I just wanted to write to you to thank you for such a fantastic time, everyone enjoyed themselves so much. We have had cards and e-mails from everyone saying what a fantastic time they all had. I am still up in the clouds!!! It was perfect thanks to you. We can't get over how well it went and how lovely the venues were - they were breathtaking. The music was great and it was nice to see everyone joining in. I keep looking at the photographs and the DVD. The blue on the tables matched the see in the background - how wonderful it all looked.
 
Julie and Darren were so happy and really appreciate and love everything that you did for them.

Just a quick email to say thank you for everything. The day was very special and we will remember it for the rest of our lives. I'd like to thank you for all your hard work and everyone said what a marvellous job you did and that it was the best wedding they had ever been to. Both venues were perfect. The scenerey, music and the food was fantastic. The colour matched the sea in the background beatifully.
 
Also can you please give a big thank you to Neil and the man who did the DVD (which was brilliant). All our guests and friends back here said what beautiful photographs and what lovely scenery. We can't wait to get back to Kefalonia.

Tim , myself and all of our family and friends who attended the wedding could not thank Donna enough for a thoroughly enjoyable day! This was all made possible through her meticulous planning, organisational skills and amazing ability to ensure the bride and groom can have an effortless 8 days on the beautiful island of Kefalonia prior to the big day whilst she works away behind the scenes ensuring every detail is attended to.

The service was held in Argostoli Catholic Church by Fr Christian who was absolutely fabulous and made us feel at ease. We were able to pass our specific requests for the service (hymns readings etc.) to Fr Christian and with Donna’s help he made the wedding personal to us. We took Donna’s guidance on decoration for the church and floral bouquets and again she did us proud! The church looked splendid and gave it a real sense of occasion.

Every bride in Kefalonia should rest assured that you will leave Mia’s feeling like a princess, I could not have been happier with how she did my hair and recommend you get booked in. We held the reception at Capitol Events which was idyllic and as with the rest of the day they made everything run incredibly smoothly. The highlight of the evening has to be the Greek dancing, I would say the band are an absolute must, they made the night so special so a huge thanks to you all.

Finally , I would say a big thank you to Donna’s children who were an absolute joy to meet and saved the day in teaching some of us the steps to the Macarena in the later hours of the evening when we all started to tire!

John and I would sincerely like to thank you for our lovely wedding day. It was just what we wanted, and ticked all the boxes. we didn't want anything too formal or fussy, and what we got for our money was fantastic!

I had decided that once in Kefalonia, I'd go with the flow and whatever happened, happened. I hadn't even decided on the flowers, all I knew was that I wanted something rustic and mainly flowers available on Kefalonia. I have to say I was more than pleased with what you came up with, as they were perfect and smelt beautiful. the wedding itself was lovely and I was touched by Paul pipping his horn on the way to Keramies and the local people waving!! (you don’t get that treatment at home).

What can I say about Thalasomilos, great location, great food and plenty of it. we couldn't believe how much there was! we were very pleased with the photo album and many have commented on how good the photos taken at the lighthouse are.

I am so glad that I found you on the internet and that we didn't opt for the weddings available by the tour operators as they wouldn't have had your personal touch! Even my 6 year old bridesmaid Leanne came to me at the reception and said that it was the best wedding she had been to - a great testament to you Donna, as children don't tell you what you want to hear!
  
Once again Donna, thank you for arranging our wedding on your beautiful island, full of beautiful friendly people! We said we would never go back to the same place twice, but it's all booked for next year and can't wait to return!
 
ps The animals at KATs are the so lucky to have Pat and the rest of you. I was so glad we paid them a visit as we were made very welcome. Well done for the great work you do!!!

Donna - we would just like to say once more, a huge thank you for our big day(from us and my mum!). It was the most amazing wedding day that we could have hoped or wished for.  We appreciated everything, from all your planning and hard work in the lead up and before we arrived in Greece, to the actual day itself. Everything was perfect - the venue, the ceremony (the ceremony table was amazing - thank you for your personal touches, they made it so special and memorable), obviously the weather, the delicious cake, my amazing bouquet and the reception do in the evening at Penelope's -even after many trips to Greece we thought their food was amazing, and all of our guests agreed.

The bouzouki band were fantastic and got everyone up to dance! Every single thing was wonderful, and the photos are stunning too - many thanks to Neil! Thank you for helping me down to the beach for photos too! Most of the guests said it was the most fun and memorable wedding that they have ever been to and many are planning on returning to Kefalonia next year for a holiday.

Myself and Philip will definitely be back and hope we get the chance to meet up with you again!! Once again, thank you, and we will definitely be recommending you to anyone who is looking to get married abroad. We could not have had a better or more romantic day, and that is down to all of your hard work. :)

It has been a couple of weeks now since we arrived back from our honeymoon and we have hit the ground running. It seems like only yesterday we were out in Kefalonia with you. From start to finish you were an absolute rock to both me and Mark, and I want to write about the experience of organising our wedding and the 'issues' we had that Donna so brilliantly managed to resolve for us.

Mark and I had been coming to Kefalonia for many years and ultimately decided to get married there (after many quotes of over 18,000 GBP for a wedding in the UK).

The year before, my now husband and I went to Kefalonia and met up with Donna. We talked about many things, but being the control freak that I am I decided on the caterer, the florist and the decorations for the venue, and Donna was only too accommodating with letting me do this. There were many, many e-mails to Donna over the course of the year that followed, all of which were replied to within 12 hours of sending. We had found a wedding co-ordinator who was as excited about our wedding as we were. We had planned so hard and for such a long time we actually had no preconceptions of how the day would actually run, we had only dreamed of the day going the way it did, it took all of our breaths away.

None of our dreams would have ever come true if it wasn't for Donna. She is the most amazing lady and takes EVERY last detail of what you want for your day and makes it happen. Donna has become a good friend and thanks to her, all of our 30 guests and my husband and I have had a wedding to remember, like something from Hello magazine I believe one of our friends said on the day. The evening reception was amazing, the food was out of this world and we had fireworks and a brilliant DJ.

We love you Donna, Thank you so much from the very, very bottom of our hearts, We'll never forget all that you did for us. See you next September.
