Dear Donna,

We wanted a very special and bespoke wedding day, as there were just the two of us travelling out to Kefalonia.  Donna managed to make our day, from start to finish.  We were looked after, knew exactly what was going on, everything went according to plan.  Donna met us at the airport, and then again at our hotel later, to run through the itinery and how we wanted to celebrate our special day.  Nothing was too much trouble and we felt as though she really has that caring touch.  Donna is an excellent planner and organiser and is so friendly we trusted her and wow did she deliver!  She arranged hairdressing and make up, both ladies being ex pats, they really looked after me just prior to the ceremony, just what I needed as there was just the 2 of us!
 
An absolutely fantastic and memorable occasion, we will always remember with fond memories our most perfect wedding, all down to Donna's friendliness, professionalism and dedication.  We would recommend Kefalonia Weddings to anyone who wants to get married abroad, a hassle free and personalised service awaits!  You wont regret it, you will absolutely love it

Wow what a fantastic wedding... we never thought the day could have been as perfect as it was!  So many guests told us it was the best wedding they had ever been to!  We truly appreciate what everybody did on the day to make it the best day of our lives.

A massive thank you to the children’s entertainer she was amazing keeping the children entertained for so long!  The Greek Band were highly entertaining as was DJ Thomas.  The staff at Old Times could not have been anymore accommodating than they were and what wonderful food they produced.  People still talk about the food even 5 weeks on.

AND a HUGE thank you to you, you made our day so perfect – we want to do it all over again and again and again!

We got engaged in February 2009 and decided to get married in Kefalonia, Greece.  Donna Palimeris agreed to meet us a year in advance (June 2010) so we could meet in person and discuss exactly what we wanted on our day.  Donna was warm and friendly, and you could tell instantly that she loved organising weddings.  We agreed on a date in June 2011.

We knew straight away that we wanted the ceremony at the pretty Gentillini Winery and a reception at Palatino restaurant with its laid back vibe and breath taking views. 

In the months leading up to the wedding Donna and I exchanged e-mails ranging from suggestions on flowers, decorations and cake to legal requirements and order of service.  Donna always replied promptly and assured me nothing was too big or small to sort out.

Donna met us at the airport and arranged a meeting to iron out the last minute details.  Donna ensured everything went smoothly on the big day.  The winery and restaurant were both decorated beautifully and the reception itself was a great mixture of Greek and British fun.  The bouzouki band entertained our guests, we even had some Greek dancing and fantastic fireworks!  It truly was the happiest day of our lives. 

Donna's efforts made our day unique, exciting and fuss free.  Combine this with the beautiful backdrop that is Kefalonia and you can't go wrong. 

Donna, thank you so so much, we hope to see you again when we celebrate our anniversary.

Hi Donna

Just wanted to drop you a line to say thank you so much for all your help with arranging our fantastic wedding at the Mareblu Apostolata.  We had the most amazing time, it was the most beautiful venue - even better than we had hoped.

Although we were fairly chilled out about the whole wedding, we couldn’t have wished for it to be better, you took away any stress that we might have had in organising everything for us.  I was especially pleased with the hairdresser you arranged, I loved my flowers and the photographer and video guys did a great job.  We are so pleased that we had the DVD done now!!

We also had a fabulous time at our reception at the Old Times restaurant in Skala, they looked after our party so well and the food was faultless, if you have the opportunity please do pass on our thanks again.

All of our guests had a wonderful time and we all have some unforgettable memories that we will cherish forever.

Thanks again for your help in making the best day of our lives as perfect as it possibly could have been.  We would recommend Kefalonia Weddings to anyone.

If you want the wedding that dreams are made of and a day to remember and treasure, Donna, can most certainly make them happen.
 
I found Donna's website completely by accident a couple of years ago, when looking at weddings abroad for our son and his then fiancee, who is now his wife, I'm so glad and delighted that I can't praise Donna highly enough.  What can I say other than Donna is wonderful, patient, understanding, kind, friendly, happy and enjoys making sure all your wedding needs will be met over and above what you expected, and in the most tasteful of ways.

We had an amazing time at Gentilini winery for the ceremony, whose own wines are fantastic, followed by the reception at the breathtaking Palatino restaurant - where the views are incredible, the staff are fantastic and the food was nectar for the gods.  The Bouzouki band delighted us all with that special Greek touch of celebration music.  Everything went as smooth as silk all day, from the beautician, hairdresser and photographer who were all wonderful, to both venues which were simply beautiful as arranged by Donna.

Donna took the strain and stress out of everything, which for us as parents was a breath of fresh air, compared to the anxiety we've seen in weddings at home.  Family and friends were all able to thoroughly relax and enjoy the lead up to the day and the day itself - we all really really chilled, it was so very very special.  Efcharisto Donna.

We fell in love with Kefalonia when we got engaged on holiday and decided to get married there. Our main worry was how to organise a foreign wedding with no real contacts on the island. After hours of internet research we struck gold by finding Donna at Kefalonia Weddings.

Looking back it was a bit crazy risking our big day being orchestrated by a stranger but seeing that Donna had professional credentials we decided to take the risk. Well the risk certainly paid off, it was the best wedding that not only we had ever been to (bit biased maybe!!), but that all our friends and family had ever been to. Donna is just the most lovely, organised and efficient person that you could wish for to take control of your big day. We wouldn't want to put off anyone deciding to get married in Kefalonia as it is the most beautiful island with the friendliest locals, but be warned that the Greeks have a much more laid back mentality than us Brits and that could cause complete disaster for your wedding day unless you have a Donna, who is married to a Greek an, having lived there for many years,  knows their ways and how to get things done under difficult circumstances.

There are also no hidden extras at the end so you know how much your wedding will cost from the outset. You won't regret choosing Donna and we wish her every success with her business as she thoroughly deserves it!!! She really is a superstar and we just had the best day so thank you so much from both of us.

I just wanted to thank you again for our wonderful wedding day. It was a perfect day. Apart from running out of time when I was getting ready, I was completely stress free. You were amazing with everything. All our guests loved it as well, none of them had ever been to a wedding abroad before so they didn't know what to expect. Most have said it's the best wedding they have ever been too. Please can you thank the photographer as well please, sorry I can't remember his name. Our photos are beautiful, lots of people have commented on what lovely photos they are. The captain on the boat was also brilliant, , letting some of us have a drive of his boat. The band were fabulous, everyone loved them especially the plate smashing.

I could go on forever but the main thank you is to you Donna. You are such a lovely lady, you made us feel so special.

We will definitely return to Kefalonia one day and and it would be lovely to meet up for a drink.

Just got back from our fabulous 2 weeks in Kefalonia for our Wedding. Everything was perfect, the weather, the ceremony &  location, it really was a picture perfect day. We can’t thank you enough for everything you did to make our day so special. We already knew we’d picked the perfect setting at the private olive grove but you managed take it beyond what we’d imagined with your personal touches (it must of taken you hours to tie all those ribbons on the trees!) which we were completely overwhelmed with. You took all the stress out of organising our wedding and nothing was too much trouble, even when you were organising a number of weddings simultaneously you always had time for a quick chat (and a hug!) when we kept bumping into to you around the island.

The organisation of the day went like clockwork thanks to all your hard work and our guests appreciated it too. We’d also like to pass on our thanks to everyone else involved - Amanda for doing a great job with my hair, Neil for the brilliant photographs, Preview Taverna (our favourite restaurant in Kefalonia!) for the delicious food, the Greek Band and the DJ for the great party which even had other people in the restaurant joining in too.

You are all a great team. Thank you for giving us a day which was more than we imagined and we will be talking about for years to come.

Dear Donna,

Thank you so much for helping us organise our dream wedding. The location was absolutely stunning and the decorations around the chapel made for some fantastic wedding photos. We were thrilled with our photos both at the Chapel and at the Lighthouse that David took.

We would never have had such a special wedding in England and one that would hold such special memories. It was completely hassle free all the way, thanks to your expertise, professionalism and friendliness. We would like to say a special thank you for arranging the ceremony inside the Chapel. It was beautiful and a memory that we will always cherish.

We couldn't have wished for a better day and if we could we would repeat it again and again!

Petar and I arrived to the beautiful island of Kefalonia June 7th 2011 to be greeted by Donna at the airport.... and what a lovely way to start our holiday! From the word 'go' Donna met at our hotel with us to discuss fine details and plans for the big day, and gave us all contact numbers so that everything was structured and ready to roll! She gave me details of the hairdresser and said that at any time I could contact her too for a pre-wedding day hair style consultation.

On the day of the wedding Donna arrived to hand me my bouquet, and to reassure me and calm nerves! She was at the wedding venue and explained at all times the proceedings for the day. She introduced us to the photographer and simply just made it all flow... I felt completely excited and at ease on the wedding day as did my now husband Petar. Donna just took away all of the 'fuss' and made everything simple. It truly was a day to never forget, and the whole Kefalonia weddings experience is one that I will wholeheartedly recommend to friends and family members wishing to marry abroad!

Donna - quite simply Petar and I would like to say a huge THANK YOU for all your help and support! you helped to make the day simply the best!

A very big thank you for making our day so very special and so very unique. We wanted to have our wedding on a sailing yacht, and without Donna's help, this would not have happened.  From the moment we met her, we felt like we'd known her for ages.   After a brief hello at the airport on the Saturday
evening when we arrived, we met Donna the following day to run through all the details for our wedding and any questions etc that we had.  Donna was very professional, helpful and super organised and had thought of everything.

Our dream wedding came true, and we had the most amazing and special day. The boat, Mala, looked amazing, with little bows tied on the back, and the Captain and First Mate (Ben and Stuart) looking very smart in their outfits. The flowers were exactly as I had described and sent over to Donna, and the cake was beautiful (and very tasty!).  The hairdresser and beautician that were recommended by Donna were lovely too and made me feel very special for the day.

I cannot thank you enough Donna, and a big thank you to everyone else who was involved to make the day go very smoothly, with lots of laughter and a few tears.  Neil's wedding album is perfect, we loved the fact that he made the photos look like it was just us two of the boat, little does anyone see that there are rather a few more people jumping around trying to stay on board!  So please send our special thanks to Neil.
