The Aloni was built over 100 years ago and was used by Kefalonians as a threshing floor. The donkey walked around the pole in the centre and as the wind blew the chaff away, the grain stayed behind. Since then it has been restructured from the original stones and sits in a well established garden.
It is a completely private venue for you and your guests to enjoy a totally individual evening. A Greek band* will entertain you throughout the night, and if things get going, plate smashing has been known to happen!
The following menu has been arranged through a local catering company, but for wine, spirits and soft drinks, the Aloni has it’s own bar and drinks are to be paid at the end of the evening.

Greek salad, lettuce and avocado, aubergine dip, cheese plate variety
Starters
Macaroni cheese bake, spinach and cheese crêpes, aubergines in tomato sauce, courgette balls, cheese balls, bread rolls
Main Course
Grilled chicken fillet, smoked sausages, homemade beef burgers, pork spare ribs, pork in cream and mushroom sauce
Desert
Mixed fruit salad
